New Hatchlings Banded

I just banded the other two hatchlings in Cage #5. So far it looks like one will be chocolate and the other will be fawn. They're being well-fed, and are toasty warm. :-)  The other eggs were duds.

One of the four chicks in Cage #3 fell out of the nest two nights ago. :-(  The other three are doing great.  One of them fledged today.  It stayed out for a few minutes, then went back into the nest.  :-)

The eggs in Cage #1 should be hatching very soon.  I candled them just now, and they still look okay.

Note to self:  Current available band colors are light blue and gray.
